My long-term goal as a researcher has been to support the innovation and dissemination of protocols that mitigate disparities and health inequities in marginalized and institutionally underserved populations. While my focus has primarily been in academic research, I am eager to apply my skills and expertise in research, communication, and technical writing in new professional contexts. As a member of a team, I lead by example and love to inspire those around me by building authentic relationships on a foundation of trust and validation. I am committed to fostering a safe, creative, and collaborative research environment by honoring team members’ individualities, strengths, and unique contributions.
